Short film – Futuro do Pretérito

Work Function: Director, screenwriter, narrator and actor.

In this independent project, I intended to transmit the reflections of a young man who sees a woman walking by in a city square, and imagine possible relations with her in the past, present and future.

I made the short film for the ‘’Festival do Minuto’’ (a movie festival that the movies need to have only one minute) , I did use the ‘’would be’’ expression, that in represents the lack of attitude of a young reflexive man.

I choose to insert a melancholic vibration by selecting the right music, edition and filming angles, mixed with the narrative voice. The video was a finalist in a competitive contest of one-minute short films.

Documentary Reportage – Parque Madureira

Work Function: Screenwriter, narrator and audio operator.

In this work, along with students of various Brazilian Universities realized with the Futura TV Channel, we had the job of showing a different vision of the city of Rio de Janeiro, a distant vision of what is most common visited by tourists.

We have chosen the Madureira Park (Parque Madureira), a park located in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. We exposed the Sunday of the residents that live near the park, that enjoy the area to go skating, playing basketball, participating of “Roda de Sambas” (Samba Music exhibitions) and participating of various Brazilians folk activities.

In a documentary style reportage, we let the characters and the images talk to itself, with the text script in voice-over dictating the poetic of the video.

Publicity film - Baygon

Work Function: screenwriter and cameraman.

In this group job we had to choose a random product and a movie reference to make an advertising video.

For this, we chose as product the “Baygon” insecticide and as a filmic reference an opening scene of the acclaimed "2001: A Space Odyssey." With good humor, we made a simple production to illustrate how it would the end production.
